About
Set in a beautiful and quiet location in Montriond, a sought after village just outside Morzine, Chalet Debussy & Bizet is a wonderful base for your holiday to the Portes de Soleil. It’s a quick drive to the Ardent telecabine which will whisk you straight up to La Lindaret and in to the heart of the Portes de Soleil. La Lindaret, or ‘Goat Village’ is home to the best restaurants in the Portes de Soleil.
Chalet Debussy
Chalet Debussy is an authentic 200 year old farmhouse which has been carefully renovated to create a stunning luxury ski chalet. The chalet can sleep up to eight adults (and up to 7 children) in four luxury en suite bedrooms. The bedrooms are well designed with comfort in mind. The additional children's beds are situated on a cosy mezzanine in one of the double rooms (only suitable for children aged five and above), a sofa bed another bedroom and a bunk room adjoining the master suite. The living room and communal spaces in Chalet Debussy certainly make the most of the views. The living room, which is centred around a suspended wood burner, is a great space to enjoy relaxing after a fun day skiing, whilst the mezzanine gets used regularly by children.
Chalet Bizet
Inside Chalet Bizet as you walk down the stairs into the open plan living room, dining room and bar area you get the sense that it is much larger chalet than for just six guests. There is plenty of comfortable seating for everyone around the fireplace and the bar provides an additional space to relax. The room is light with a lovely combination of old features and contemporary furniture with large sliding doors going out on to the terrace and hot tub. For families the garden will be a real highlight as there is plenty of space for children to play in the snow whilst you can keep a mindful eye from the warmth of inside. The bedrooms in Chalet Bizet are comfortable with interesting touches such as panelled walls, townhouse windows and antique furniture. There are three additional beds for children; a separate bunk room off The Carmen Suite and a pull-out bed in The Bel Canto Suite.
Food
The award-winning menus at both Chalet Debussy & Chalet Bizet have been creatively designed by executive chef Kat who embraces local seasonal ingredients. If you would like to take a wander while you are there, the closest bar, restaurants and shops are 15 minutes away.
