Important: Please check the entry requirements for all destinations on your itinerary, including any destinations you may be transiting through.
Passports: All travellers must check that their passport validity meets their country entry requirements.
Visas: You are responsible for checking that you have the correct visas for entry.

As per our terms and conditions, it is a condition of acceptance that you will have adequate travel insurance at the time of booking. Your travel insurance must cover you for local and international medical repatriation, cancellation and curtailment cover, and the more standard cover, i.e. money, delayed flights, lost passports etc. You must have cover for any activities you intend to do on your holiday, and it is your responsibility to ascertain from the insurance company that no exclusions are applied to your policy. For example, some travel and medical insurances do not cover mountain climbing above 6,000 meters above sea level, ballooning or scuba diving.
International flights
Please check with your airline for luggage weight restrictions and dimensions for your carry-on and checked-in luggage.
Domestic flights
Please check the back page of your itinerary for guidance. If you feel you do not have enough allowance, an additional allowance can be purchased.
Before your holiday, it’s important to inform your bank you’ll be travelling abroad. We recommend taking enough cash with you for tips where required. Specific information can be found on the back page of your itinerary, however see our generic advice below for where tipping would be required.
Safari Holidays: It is normal/expected to tip on safari if you have received good service. We recommend between US$10 and US$30 per guest per day for general camp staff. This should be placed in the communal tips box or handed to the lodge manager so it can be distributed among the staff. Most lodges and camps do not encourage you to tip individuals, but if you want to, please discuss this with the lodge manager. If you have a private guide, we would advise the same amount.
Sailing Holidays: on any yacht, it is considered good etiquette to tip the crew 5-15% of the booking price.
Ski Holiday: for catered ski chalets, tipping chalet staff is normal and completely at your discretion.
Depending on the airline, you can check in and reserve seats between 24 and 48 hours prior to your departure. We suggest you do this as early as possible to ensure you can reserve seats together.
