About

Built to sit naturally within the landscape, Rayavadee is spread amongst coconut palms and lush tropical gardens within the Krabi Marine National Park. Rather than feeling like a conventional beach resort, its pavilions and villas are tucked throughout the jungle, with paths leading to beaches, restaurants and dramatic limestone cliffs. The emphasis is very much on the natural setting, making it particularly well suited to those wanting more than simply a traditional fly-and-flop beach stay.  

Rooms

Accommodation comprises 94 spacious two-storey pavilions and seven luxurious villas scattered throughout the resort’s tropical gardens. The pavilions feature separate bedroom and living areas, contemporary Thai-inspired interiors and generous bathrooms, with higher categories adding outdoor terraces, private pools or additional bedrooms. For families and those wanting greater privacy, the larger villas offer extensive living space and private pools, with the two-bedroom Rayavadee Villa overlooking Phranang Beach representing the resort’s most exclusive accommodation.  

Dining

Rayavadee has four distinctive restaurants, ranging from relaxed international and Asian cuisine to traditional Thai dining overlooking Phranang Beach. The standout setting is The Grotto, tucked beneath a dramatic limestone cliff directly beside the beach, while Krua Phranang specialises in Thai cuisine with views across the sea and surrounding islands. Raya Dining and Raitalay Terrace provide further options, giving guests plenty of variety without needing to leave the resort.  

Activity

There is plenty to experience beyond the beaches, with kayaking, paddleboarding, snorkelling, diving, rock climbing and guided hikes all available. Private boat trips can explore the surrounding islands, including Phi Phi, while land-based excursions visit Krabi’s mangrove forests, waterfalls, hot springs, local markets and Tiger Cave Temple. Guests can also enjoy Thai cooking experiences, the spa and simply exploring the peninsula’s beaches and jungle trails, making Rayavadee an excellent choice for those who like a little adventure alongside their time by the sea.
