This 9-night family adventure combines two very different sides of Kenya, with an active safari in the wild landscapes of Laikipia followed by a relaxed stay on the Indian Ocean coast. Begin with three nights at Sosian Lodge, a welcoming, family-friendly ranch where traditional game drives can be mixed with horse riding, bush walks and plenty of time to enjoy the lodge. From here, fly to the coast for six nights at Kinondo Kwetu, an intimate beach retreat south of Diani where days can be as active or relaxed as you like. With plenty of space, a wonderfully informal atmosphere and activities for all ages, it is an easy and memorable safari-and-beach combination for families.
