Reached by a scenic seaplane journey from Malé, Cheval Blanc Randheli is spread across a collection of small islands, creating an exceptional feeling of space and privacy. Designed by architect Jean-Michel Gathy, the resort has a sophisticated yet understated style, combining timber, stone and natural materials with contemporary artwork and carefully considered interiors. Service is highly personalised, with each villa looked after by a dedicated Majordome who can tailor everything from dining and activities to excursions and family experiences.

Rooms

Accommodation comprises just 46 spacious villas positioned either on the beach, amongst tropical gardens or over the lagoon, each with its own large private pool and generous indoor and outdoor living areas. Even the entry-level villas are exceptionally spacious, while larger Garden Water and two-bedroom options work particularly well for families. At the top end, the four-bedroom Private Island provides a completely secluded retreat with its own spa, swimming pool, private beach and dedicated team.

Dining

Dining is one of Randheli’s major strengths, with several distinctive restaurants ranging from relaxed beachfront venues to sophisticated fine dining. Le 1947 offers an intimate gastronomic tasting experience, while Deelani specialises in Mediterranean flavours overlooking the water and Diptyque combines Japanese and East Asian influences. White provides relaxed all-day dining, while La Table de Partage offers a private dining experience for families and groups. The resort’s bars, extensive wine cellar and personalised destination dining provide plenty of additional variety.

Activity

Days can be as active or relaxed as guests choose, with excellent diving and snorkelling complemented by sailing, kayaking, paddleboarding, surfing, fishing and private boat excursions. The Cheval Blanc Spa occupies its own dedicated island and offers an extensive selection of treatments alongside yoga, fitness and wellness programmes. Tennis and other land-based activities are also available, while younger guests are exceptionally well catered for with dedicated children’s and teenagers’ clubs.
