Constance Halaveli

Constance Halaveli is a luxury island resort set within the beautiful North Ari Atoll in the Maldives, surrounded by powder-white beaches, turquoise lagoons and the clear waters of the Indian Ocean. Combining spacious villas with excellent dining, a strong spa offering and superb diving, it is a polished yet relaxed resort that works particularly well for couples, honeymooners and families.

About
Reached by a scenic seaplane journey of around 25 minutes from Malé, Constance Halaveli occupies its own private island with a long stretch of beach and an impressive overwater jetty extending into the lagoon. The resort has a refined feel without being overly formal, with plenty of space and privacy alongside a good choice of restaurants and activities. Its location in North Ari Atoll is particularly appealing for those interested in marine life, while the combination of beach and water villas means it suits a wide range of travellers.
Rooms
Accommodation ranges from spacious Water Villas to Beach Villas and larger family-friendly options, with every villa featuring its own private pool and furnished outdoor terrace. The 100-square-metre Water Villas sit above the lagoon with open-plan bedrooms and living areas, while the much larger Beach Villas are surrounded by tropical gardens and offer direct access to the sand. Two-bedroom, double-storey and dedicated Family Beach Villas provide additional space for families or groups travelling together.
Dining
Dining is a particular strength, with four restaurants providing plenty of variety throughout a longer stay. Jahaz is the main restaurant serving international cuisine, while the overwater Jing specialises in refined Asian fusion. Meeru offers seafood and premium meats in a relaxed beachfront setting, and Kaika focuses on sushi, sashimi and Japanese dishes. Wine is taken seriously here too, with the resort’s cellars holding an extensive collection of more than 22,500 bottles and 1,600 labels.
Activity
The waters of North Ari Atoll provide excellent opportunities for diving and snorkelling, with excursions exploring coral reefs populated by colourful fish, turtles and rays. Guests can also enjoy kayaking, windsurfing, sailing, paddleboarding, fishing and sunset cruises, alongside tennis, yoga and a well-equipped fitness centre. For those wanting a slower pace, the overwater spa offers treatments overlooking the lagoon, while romantic experiences including private beach dinners, sandbank picnics and sunset cruises can also be arranged.
