About Zighy Bay

Nestled in Oman’s dramatic Musandam Peninsula, where rugged mountains dive into vibrant emerald waters, across a powdery sand beach, the village-inspired resort in Oman offers a range of villas, suites, and beachfront retreats, each with a private pool, traditional summer house and the time and space to find yourself. There’s something for everyone at the Oman hotel, including eclectic dining featuring local and international cuisine, an award-winning spa and a plethora of unique experiences.

Rooms at Zighy Bay

The relaxing and serene villas and suites at Zighy Bay hotel are built of natural stone and timber. These Omani-style accommodations offer cool interiors with a colourfully cushioned living area and an uber-comfy bed with organic bedding. Outside, within the privacy of high mountain-stone walls, settle back on plumped-up sun loungers under a shaded patio next to your ow private plunge pool. Villas vary in size from 82 sq. m. for a maximum of four guests, u to 3,000 sq. m. for a maximum of ten guests. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fans, a personal safe, a hairdryer, an espresso machine, slippers, bathrobes, a telephone, wifi, a theatre system, a TV and a private wine cellar and with either a garden or ocean view.

Dining at Zighy Bay

From a hilltop restaurant in Oman serving signature cuisine and evening views over the crystal waters of the Gulf of Oman, to authentic Bedouin dining on the beach, tapas at an al fresco bar, and dining with a private chef in your villa. For a change of pace, in-villa dining is a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Zighy Bar offers classic, modern, local and organic mocktails and cocktails throughout the day and evening along with tapas and light snacks, overlooking their wadi. Happy Hour is referred to as the No Rush Hour and is leisurely extended fro?m 9:30 pm to midnight.

How to get there

Zighy Bay is a 120-minute drive from Dubai International Airport. The resort’s unique setting allows for three arrival choices: A dramatic 4x4 drive through the mountains; a 15-minute speedboat trip from a nearby port; or the ultimate thrill strapped to our professional paraglider.
