VIK Chile

VIK Chile is a striking luxury retreat set within the 4,450-acre Millahue Valley, surrounded by vineyards, rolling hills and dramatic mountain landscapes. Blending contemporary architecture, bold art and award-winning wines, the property offers an immersive escape into the Chilean countryside, just a short journey from Santiago.

About
Located in the Cachapoal Valley, VIK Chile is the flagship property of the VIK collection and combines a contemporary approach to hospitality with the traditions of the Chilean wine country. The dramatic main building was designed as a piece of modern architecture integrated into the landscape, with floor-to-ceiling windows opening towards the vineyards and mountains. Art is central to the experience, with works by international and Chilean artists incorporated throughout the property, while the surrounding 4,450-acre estate provides an expansive setting for relaxation, exploration and wine production.
Rooms
Accommodation is divided between the main VIK hotel and a collection of private villas, with each room individually designed around a particular artistic concept. The interiors combine contemporary furnishings, striking artworks and panoramic views, while the larger villas offer additional privacy and generous living spaces. Many rooms overlook the vineyards and valley, creating a strong connection between the accommodation and the surrounding landscape.
Dining
Dining at VIK Chile centres on produce from the surrounding region and the estate’s own vineyards. The main restaurant presents contemporary Chilean cuisine with menus designed to complement VIK’s wines, including the property’s signature VIK red. Guests can also enjoy more relaxed dining in the outdoor spaces, with the vineyard and valley providing an atmospheric backdrop for long lunches and dinners accompanied by Chilean wine.
Activity
Wine is at the heart of the VIK experience, with vineyard tours and tastings offering an insight into the estate’s winemaking philosophy and the distinctive terroir of the Millahue Valley. Beyond the vineyards, guests can explore the extensive estate on horseback, bicycle or foot, with hiking and outdoor adventures revealing the surrounding countryside. The property also offers a spa, swimming pool and opportunities to simply relax while taking in the expansive views across the valley.
