The Camp

Perched on the edge of the Kuka Hills, the Camp commands breathtaking views down the valley that borders the Serengeti and the Masai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy exclusive game viewing, thrilling night game drives, bush dining, Maasai culture and old-fashioned safari luxury.

Embodying the very soul of the Serengeti, this private and remote camp offers guests the spirit of wild Africa. Set in a landscape that is gentle yet rugged, this Camp reflects the heart of this untamed land with a vintage safari style. The stone interiors of the guest areas open up to breathtaking panoramas, with open fireplaces to keep the chill away. Featuring a beautifully furnished bar and sitting area, stone floors and deep leather armchairs invite you to while away the hours.

Boasting one of the finest views in Africa, spend afternoons on your personal verandah overlooking smoky views of distant hills. Wooded hillsides, rolling grasslands and forested river banks, all teem with rich wildlife in this natural haven. Browse in the beautiful Safari Shop that displaying locally-made Maasai crafts. Fresh vegetables picked from the camp’s organic vegetable garden, are used to create wholesome dishes. Meals are served in the main dining area, or under the stars on the concession.

The Cottages

Klein’s Camp consists of just ten intimate cottages made of local stone and makutithatch, with rich wooden floors and classic interiors. Each cottage has an en-suite bathroom and private veranda, where guests can marvel at extraordinary views down the valley while sipping on your favourite drink from your personal bar.

Game Drives

At &BEYOND, game drives are tailored to suit your preference, with a choice between shorter, twice-daily drives or one full-day game drive, with a stop for a picnic lunch. The game drives are carefully planned to anticipate the progress of the Great Migration, so you should not have to travel too far to see the vast herds. However, if the Migration has moved off, or the dramatic river crossings are in progress, you may choose to spend more time on the vehicle in order to maximise your chances of seeing this incredible phenomenon. When the Migration herds are not within easy reach, &BEYOND’s properties are perfectly situated in some of the most remote and beautiful corners of the Serengeti, with game drives setting off in search of the exceptional resident game. Game drives are conducted in the Serengeti National Park, so off-roading and night drives are not permitted.
