Camp

At Hoanib Valley, immerse yourself in a captivating blend of design and natural beauty. The main area, adorned with a dramatic stretch-canvas roof, invites you to discover its welcoming spaces. Relax in cosy corners, inspired by the stunning surroundings, where colors, textures, and patterns pay homage to the ochre dunes, the geometric designs beloved by the Himba people, and the majestic giraffes that sparked this remarkable project. Indulge in the indoor dining area or sip a refreshing drink at the intimate bar. And for those seeking a refreshing dip, a small plunge pool nestled high in the rocks awaits, providing a tranquil oasis to cool off and rejuvenate.

Rooms

Six luxury tents are raised on decks with en suite bathrooms and a private veranda. Decorated in a contemporary style with a neutral palette, these tents are stylish but also in keeping with its environment. The camp is able to cater to families with one family room and takes children from age six onwards.

Activity

During your stay you can take part in a variety of different activities such as, nature walks with the camps fantastic guides, visiting the local Himba and Damara communities where you can learn more about desert living, desert drives to track elephant, rhino, giraffe and lion, and get the chance to spend some time along side the giraffe conservation research team.
