Originally designed for a member of ABBA, Kilindi combines Scandinavian minimalism with the arches, courtyards, and flowing water features of Middle Eastern and Swahili architecture. The result is a beautifully serene atmosphere that reflects both simplicity and elegance. With just 15 pavilions spread across 50 acres of tropical gardens, the resort prioritises privacy, personalised service, and a deep connection to Zanzibar’s natural beauty and cultural richness.

Rooms

Each of the resort’s white-domed pavilion suites is designed as a self-contained oasis, featuring two private plunge pools, a rainfall shower open to the sky, and large glassless windows that invite in the ocean breeze. The interiors are cool and airy, with light linens, wide beds, and thoughtful minimalist décor. Every suite is attended by a private butler, ensuring seamless, discreet service throughout the stay.
