Offbeat Ndoto

Offbeat Ndoto is a small eco-friendly tented camp which lies within the Masai Mara's Mara North Conservancy. With just 4 rooms, immerse yourself in private wilderness where sightings of lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, buffalo and giraffe are the normal.

Rooms
Each of Offbeat Ndoto's four luxury safari tents offer stunning views over the valley. The tents are raised on natural rock bases built from locally sourced river rock and have a large outside veranda perfect for watching the wildlife that strolls through the valley. Inside you have your own sitting room with a day bed and safari chairs for relaxing, private dining or reading a book. Your bedroom has a super king-sized bed, a desk and armchair. The bathroom is well appointed with “rain shower”, flush toilet, double wash basin and wardrobe. Power for charging cameras and batteries is available 24 hours a day.
Food
The beautifully designed Mess Tent offers delicious homemade delights, plenty of ice-cold drinks and a campfire for many a safari tale. Down on their secret island lunches can be enjoyed under the shade of ancient Sycamore Fig trees whilst the Olare Orok River bubbles past. Morning tea and coffee is served on the veranda.
Wildlife
This is why you come to the Mara! The wildlife in this area is extraordinary with huge numbers of plains game and with that, all the big cats. Our famous local pride, The Offbeat pride, are lions we at Offbeat have followed for generations. Your guide knows every member of the pride and all the history that goes with them. Game viewing is exceptional all year round, but from July to October you will also get to experience the annual wildebeest migration in its hundreds of thousands.
