Chikwenya is an intimate luxury safari camp set on the banks of the Zambezi River on the eastern edge of Mana Pools National Park. About
Located within a private concession bordering the UNESCO-listed Mana Pools National Park, Chikwenya enjoys a spectacular setting where the Sapi River meets the mighty Zambezi. Operated by Wilderness, the seasonal camp is surrounded by ancient albida and mahogany trees, with sweeping views across the floodplains to Zambia’s Rift Valley escarpment. Its secluded location offers exclusive access to a rich diversity of habitats, creating exceptional opportunities for wildlife encounters while maintaining an intimate and tranquil atmosphere. Rooms
Accommodation consists of just seven spacious canvas tented suites, including two family suites with private plunge pools. Elevated on wooden decks and connected by raised walkways, each suite features elegant contemporary interiors, king-size beds, generous lounge areas and en-suite bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers. Private verandas overlook the Zambezi floodplains, allowing guests to watch wildlife pass by from the comfort of their room.

Dining at Chikwenya celebrates fresh seasonal ingredients served in a variety of scenic settings throughout the camp.
