Mwiba Lodge is an exclusive, eco-luxury safari lodge nestled among massive boulders overlooking the Arugusinyai River gorge in the southern Serengeti. Located in a private 51,000-acre wildlife reserve, the lodge offers unparalleled access to diverse wildlife, including elephants, lions, and leopards, with the added advantage of off-road and night game drives. The lodge’s design harmoniously blends rock, wood, canvas, and thatch, reflecting the natural beauty of its surroundings.  

Rooms

Mwiba Lodge features ten spacious tented suites, each elevated on wooden decks to provide panoramic views of the landscape. The suites are designed with a blend of traditional and contemporary elements, offering a luxurious and comfortable stay. Amenities include air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms with both indoor and outdoor showers, private verandas, and a mini bar. The interiors are elegantly furnished, ensuring a serene and immersive experience in the heart of the wilderness.

Mwiba Lodge offers a range of experiences designed to immerse guests in the Serengeti’s wilderness. Expert-led day and night game drives allow close encounters with elephants, lions, leopards, and other wildlife, while guided walking safaris reveal the intricate details of the bush. Cultural visits to local Hadzabe and Datoga communities provide insight into traditional lifestyles. For adventurous guests, overnight fly camping under and scenic helicopter flights are available.
