Nxabega Under Canvas

&Beyond Nxabega Under Canvas is an intimate semi-permanent safari camp set on a private concession in the heart of Botswana’s Okavango Delta. With just three luxury tents overlooking seasonal floodplains, it offers an immersive safari experience where water-based adventures, exceptional wildlife and the romance of sleeping under canvas come together.

About
Located on a private concession bordering the Moremi Game Reserve, &Beyond Nxabega Under Canvas offers a quieter, more contemplative perspective on the Okavango Delta. Opened in 2026, the semi-permanent camp is designed for just six guests, creating one of the most exclusive safari experiences in the &Beyond portfolio. Set beneath ancient trees overlooking a seasonal floodplain, the camp embraces a low-impact approach while providing refined comforts and personalised service. Its intimate scale and exceptional setting allow guests to experience the Delta’s ever-changing landscapes with a strong sense of privacy and connection to nature.
Rooms
Accommodation consists of just three spacious canvas tents, each thoughtfully positioned for privacy and uninterrupted views across the floodplains. Interiors combine natural textures, handcrafted furnishings and comfortable king-size beds with en-suite bathrooms, hot showers and shaded private verandas. Designed to immerse guests in the surrounding wilderness without compromising on comfort, the tents offer an authentic safari atmosphere with understated luxury.
Dining
Dining embraces the traditions of classic safari life, with freshly prepared meals served beneath canvas, around the campfire or under Botswana’s star-filled skies. Bush breakfasts, picnic lunches and scenic sundowner stops are all part of the experience, while attentive service and locally inspired cuisine create a relaxed and memorable atmosphere. Every meal is designed to complement the rhythm of life in the Delta.
Activities
Game drives and guided walking safaris reveal the Delta’s remarkable wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards and abundant birdlife. When seasonal water levels allow, guests can also explore the waterways by traditional mokoro canoe or enjoy catch-and-release fishing, offering a unique perspective on the Okavango’s intricate ecosystem. Stargazing and optional scenic helicopter flights complete an immersive safari experience that showcases the Delta by land, water and sky.
