Nestled in a private concession on the edge of Skeleton Coast National Park, Wilderness Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp occupies one of Namibia’s most spectacular and remote locations. Overlooking the dry Hoanib River, the camp is surrounded by gravel plains, ancient mountains and shifting sand dunes that support an astonishing array of desert-adapted wildlife. Developed in partnership with the neighbouring conservancies, the camp plays an important role in protecting the region’s fragile ecosystems and supporting local communities. Contemporary design, sustainable architecture and panoramic views create a luxurious yet understated retreat that blends seamlessly into its remarkable surroundings.  

Rooms

Accommodation comprises eight spacious luxury tented suites, including a family unit, all carefully positioned to maximise privacy and views across the desert landscape. Built using natural materials and powered entirely by solar energy, the suites feature elegant interiors, king-size beds, en-suite bathrooms and shaded private decks overlooking a nearby waterhole frequently visited by elephants, giraffes and oryx. The sophisticated design reflects the colours and textures of the surrounding wilderness while providing every modern comfort.
