Beagle Expeditions operates the Kweene Trail, a 4-night mobile safari where guests journey between two beautifully designed expedition-style tented camps that combine comfort, exclusivity, and adventure in the heart of the Okavango Delta.

Set within a private concession in Botswana’s Abu Reserve, Beagle Expeditions gives guests access to a pristine and remote part of the Okavango Delta that can only be reached by helicopter. From the moment they arrive, travellers are immersed in a true wilderness experience, spending their days exploring the Delta on foot, by water or in air. Guided Walking Safaris

One of the signature experiences offered is the traditional walking safari. Walking through the African bush transforms the safari experience from passive observation into active exploration. Guests track wildlife on foot alongside highly experienced guides who interpret animal behaviour, identify tracks, explain ecosystems, and share deep knowledge of the Delta environment. Mokoro Excursions

During the flood season, guests can explore the Okavango’s waterways using traditional mokoros — handcrafted dugout canoes expertly navigated by local guides. Gliding silently through reed-lined channels offers a completely different perspective on the Delta. Hippos surface nearby, elephants cross shallow floodplains, and birdlife flourishes throughout the wetlands. Helicopter Safaris
