Serengeti Safari Camp

Serengeti Safari Camp is a traditional mobile tented camp which moves with The Great Migration throughout the year. The camp is built in classic safari style with only six tents, each with its own en suite bathroom, flush loo and bucket shower.

This is one of the best tented camps in Tanzania and has been for a long time. You can visit at any time of year and be right in the heart of The Great Migration.
About
Serengeti Safari Camp was the first of its kind, designed with a purpose in mind; to be in the best possible location to view the wildebeest migration. Each year, this little camp casts off and begins its odyssey, covering hundreds of miles and moving every couple of months (not during your stay) along a route that the herds have travelled for hundreds of years; this is where you come for your migration fix.
Rooms
The general atmosphere of this authentic little camp is brilliant – guests feel at one with nature, really part of the bush experience. Accommodation consists of six tents, including a family tent. Inside each tent, there’s a comfy double bed or twin beds, bedside tables and lighting and a writing desk. The family tent has a connecting lounge. Each tent’s en-suite facilities comprise a flush toilet, washbasin and separate safari/bucket shower. Though keeping authentic, we would describe this as a luxury experience - everything is done to a very high standard.
Facilities
Serengeti Safari Camp’s communal spaces are a home away from home. The library (tent) contains a sofa and chairs, storage trunks put to use as occasional tables, a selection of reading material, and a stocked bar. In the dining tent, a long table is set up for communal meals. Guests can eat al fresco too around the fire pit.
