Rooms

Accommodation comprises ten luxurious stilted treehouse suites, including one family suite, each thoughtfully positioned for privacy amongst the towering mahogany trees. Built from timber and thatch using natural materials, the spacious suites feature king or twin beds, elegant en-suite bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers, comfortable lounge areas and expansive private decks overlooking the forest. The elevated design creates an immersive wilderness experience, with birdsong and the occasional passing elephant adding to the sense of seclusion.  

Dining

Dining at Lake Manyara Tree Lodge showcases fresh, seasonal cuisine inspired by local flavours and international influences. Meals are served in the stylish open-sided dining area, beneath the stars in the traditional forest boma or in secluded private settings for a more intimate experience. Carefully selected wines complement each meal, while afternoon tea and evening sundowners provide the perfect accompaniment to a day spent exploring the park.  

Activity

Game drives through Lake Manyara National Park reveal an extraordinary diversity of wildlife, from the park’s renowned tree-climbing lions and impressive elephant populations to buffalo, giraffe, hippo and an abundance of plains game. The park is also a paradise for bird enthusiasts, with more than 400 recorded species, including flocks of flamingos when lake conditions allow. Guests can enjoy guided nature walks, cultural visits to nearby communities, wellness treatments at the lodge and scenic treetop experiences, making for a varied and immersive safari beyond traditional game viewing.
