overview

Serengeti Under Canvas epitomizes luxury with its semi-permanent tented camp, strategically relocating across the Serengeti to keep pace with the mesmerizing migration of herds. This nomadic camp follows the rhythmic footsteps of over two million wildebeest and various herbivores as they traverse the grasslands in pursuit of fresh pastures each year.

Camp

At the heart of the camp lies a communal lounge adorned with a well-stocked bar tent, offering a cozy retreat to unwind with a drink in hand. Adjacent stands a separate dining tent, inviting guests to indulge to their heart's content amidst a charming ambiance (meals are also served under the stars for added allure). The food is delicious, complemented by friendly service and warm smiles. Breakfasts, whether savoured in the dining tent or amidst the wilderness, are particularly renowned.

Rooms

Comprising nine lavish tents, the camp offers an unparalleled sense of space and comfort. Each tent exudes warmth with a welcoming double bed, cozy seating, elegant Indian rugs, an en-suite bathroom, separate toilet, and an outdoor bucket shower. Guests are attended to by dedicated butlers who ensure their safety, provide room service, and facilitate hot water for showers. Additionally, power facilities are readily accessible throughout the camp.

Activity

Embarking on game drives amidst the Great Migration is an experience beyond imagination—the iconic sight of wildebeest crossing the Mara River never fails to exhilarate. Even after the main migration has passed, the region teems with resident wildlife awaiting discovery. The skies come alive with a spectacular array of birdlife, dominated by the majestic presence of vultures. As dusk descends, there's nothing quite like reclining with a refreshing G&T, reflecting on the day's remarkable sightings and basking in the radiant glow of the setting sun.
