About
Nestled amongst the red sands and ancient desert landscapes of the private Kulala Wilderness Reserve, Wilderness Kulala Desert Lodge enjoys one of the closest locations to the iconic dunes of Sossusvlei. The lodge benefits from exclusive access through a private gate into Namib-Naukluft National Park, allowing guests to reach the dunes before the crowds at sunrise. Designed to blend seamlessly into its surroundings, the lodge features traditional thatch-and-canvas architecture, sweeping desert views and warm, welcoming communal spaces. It is an ideal base from which to explore Namibia’s extraordinary landscapes, from towering sand dunes to dramatic canyons and vast open plains.

Accommodation comprises 21 spacious thatch-and-canvas chalets, including family units, each thoughtfully designed to maximise comfort and connection with the surrounding desert.
