Designed to echo a nomadic explorer’s camp but reimagined for contemporary luxury, Sindile is Shamwari’s flagship tented offering. The camp is unfenced and blends seamlessly into its surroundings, allowing for a truly wild yet secure experience. Named after a legendary lioness, the camp pays homage to the reserve’s conservation efforts and the resilience of nature, while delivering a highly personalised and intimate stay.

Rooms

Sindile comprises nine private tented suites, each raised on wooden decks and designed to offer sweeping views of the surrounding plains. Every suite features a spacious bedroom, en-suite bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers, a fireplace, minibar, and a private heated plunge pool. The décor is sophisticated and earthy, with natural textures and tones that create a calming, elegant retreat in the bush.

Dining

Dining at Sindile is refined yet relaxed, with a focus on fresh, locally inspired cuisine served in the main lodge or under the stars in the boma.
